Fifth Harmony New Music: Girl Group Releases Spanish Version of 'Worth It' [Listen]
Fifth Harmony hope to make all "Hispanic Harmonizers" happy with their latest single. The pop group released a Spanish version of their hit single "Worth It" called "Dame Esta Noche."
The single, which was released just in time for the group's first ever performance at Premios Juventud on July 16, features the group's members singing the chorus and the verses in Spanish, while featured rapper Kid Ink in English.
The popular group, which features Latinas Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Camila Cabello, is following in the footsteps of American mainstream music stars like Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull, who have all released Spanish language music.
"The X-Factor" alumnae released a five-song Spanish language EP titled "Juntos" in 2013, and it was well received by fans, reported Latina.
The group is currently preparing to continue part two of their "Reflection" tour, which begins on July 15 and ends on Aug. 27 with a show at the Beacon Theater in New York City.
According to Music Times, the group has scored their third platinum single with the success of "Worth It," in addition to "Sledgehammer" and "BO$$." The songs, all off of their debut album "Reflection," have sold over a million copies.
After Premios Juventud, the singers are set to present the Candie's Choice Style Icon Award at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Aug. 16.
They were announced as the new faces of Candie's in June and have been featured in the brand's Fall 2015 campaign. The group, which credited the brand with encouraging girls to feel confident with themselves through fashion, recently dished to Seventeen magazine about their own personal struggles and discussed topics like body image, speaking up and being yourself.
"Women are often made to feel like they have to be a certain type of girl, but you can be anything you want to be," Jauregui said.
