Madden NFL 16 Release, Review, Ratings & Gameplay: Who Are The Top Five Running Backs?
Madden NFL 16 running backs ratings are in, and leading the pack is a familiar face.
EA Sports released the top five running backs based on ratings in the game, and coming in at No. 1 is Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch. In the game, he is rated 96 overall with 99 Stiff Arm, 98 Trucking and 89 Strength. He also has 94 Juke Move.
Coming in at No. 2 is Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Although he was suspended for most of the 2014 season, he is rated 95 overall with 88 Strength and 94 Trucking. He also has 90 Speed. It is interesting that EA rated him high in this game despite his suspension.
Coming in at No. 3 is Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles. After a great 2014 campaign, Charles is rated 94 overall and has 92 Speed with 92 Acceleration. He also 97 Juke Moves and 94 Spin Moves. Some may say why Peterson is ranked higher than Charles, but nonetheless, he is ranked third.
Coming in at No. 4 is former Dallas Cowboy now Philadelphia Eagle DeMarco Murray. After finishing in the top five in MVP voting, Murray's ratings have been bumped a little. In Madden 16, he is rated 94 overall and has 96 Trucking and 89 Speed. He also has 91 Acceleration.
The last running back on this list is Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell. Bell had a monster 2014 campaign with 1,361 yards with three touchdowns. He is a 94 overall with 88 Speed and 97 Juke Move.
On Monday, the ratings of this year's rookie class was released. Leading the rookies in highest ratings is Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper with 82 overall. First overall pick and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was rated 81 overall.
The second overall pick and Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is rated 78 overall.
Madden NFL 16 is in stores Aug. 25 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
