One Direction Imagines New Take on Coffee: British Boyband to Launch their Own Café Chain
Do you love One Direction? Do you love coffee? Well, then. Behold, One Directioners, the boys are now coming out with their own café chain!
The British boyband is reportedly set to launch coffee shops worldwide, filled with collectable band memorabilia, providing a cool meeting space for their young crazed fans.
"The cafés will be very child friendly for younger fans and they're sure to be stocked up with lots of 1D merchandise," a source said. "It could become one of the group's biggest money-spinners if it takes off. Everything linked to One Direction equates to success at the moment."
The first branch opening will take place in Shibuya, Japan, as early as this month. The new business venture is highly favored by One Direction's mentor Simon Cowell, who plans to open a second branch in London, before opening several more in other major cities, including New York, Paris, Berlin and Sydney.
"This could become the lad's version of Planet Hollywood," the source added. "That chain was backed by stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger when it launched in 1991."
The new business will certainly expand their thriving empire -- One Direction is expected to make a massive earning of $1 billion this year following their upcoming 88-date Where We Are world tour, which will feature all five members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik. The highly anticipated trek is slated to kick off in Columbia on Apr. 25.
