'The Bachelorette' Season Finale: Kaitlyn Bristowe Chooses Shawn Booth, Couple Reveals Future Plans
"The Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe gave handsome suitor Shawn Booth her rose on the show's finale on Monday, but it was no surprise to fans who had seen the notorious Snapchat photo of the couple in bed together back in June.
The couple appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night where Kimmel pointed out they are the first couple ever to accidentally reveal the ending to "The Bachelorette."
"We were sending Snaps to one of the producers," Booth told Kimmel. "[And then] I pick up my phone to go on Twitter, and there's hundreds of pictures of my stupid face lying in bed with her. I started having a panic attack. I couldn't even breathe."
Now engaged, Bristowe and Booth have big plans for the future. In the coming weeks, the couple will travel to her hometown of Vancouver and his hometown of Nashville to meet family and determine where they will settle.
"I think we love the idea of having a summer home in British Columbia or Vancouver and living in Nashville," Bristowe said Tuesday afternoon. "I think that sounds pretty ideal."
"I think that might be the best!" Booth said.
Bristowe and Booth spoke to ABC News after appearing on "Good Morning America." Both prefer small town living rather than residing in a big city like New York.
"I feel like we're just too simple for New York," she told ABC News. "We want a backyard because we want dogs and I feel like you can't do that here. That's something I really can't wait for."
The couple revealed children are also in their future.
"I want four and he wants five," she said. "A big family is on the way!"
While wedding plans are not their priority presently, Bristowe shared what she'd like on that special day.
"I'm not picky and I've never been that little girl who dreamt about her wedding day," she said. "I just can't wait to be in one room with all family and friends and that's the only thing I care about."
Booth agreed.
Currently, the couple is figuring out what their new careers will be. The former bachelorette said they'd like to start a fitness-oriented business together.
