Duggar Family Solicits Fans For Cash Following '19 Kids and Counting' Cancellation
Now that TLC network has canceled "19 Kids and Counting" after eldest son Josh Duggar's sex abuse scandal became public, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are begging fans for financial support, reports RadarOnline.
On the conservative Christian family's official YouTube page, Duggar Studios, the family requests supporters contribute funds so their children can create "fresh quality content" on their video channel.
"Every contribution is helpful, big or small," the message reads.

The video clips, which are uploaded to the account once every couple of months, feature the Duggar kids playing sports and visiting the dentist.
Starcasm reported in 2014 that the Duggars' net worth had grown to an estimated $3.5 million. Despite being millionaires thanks to the success of "19 Kids and Counting," the former reality stars have no problem asking for handouts.
Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick have a donation page on their official website, which asks fans to give $15 or more to the Dillard Family Ministries so they can continue their missionary work in El Salvador. The couple has not told fans how the money will be spent. They have not shared photos of their missionary work or announced a return date, but they did write a blog post dated July 18, saying they had arrived in Central America.
According to the Duggar Family Blog, pregnant Jessa Seewald and her husband Ben will be at four Southern Women's Show expos to sign autographs, pose for pictures with guests and answer audience questions -- for a price. Fans can purchase tickets on the family blog. The family will also raffle off tickets, which means people buy one or more chances to win.
Seewald's appearances are scheduled for August, September and October.
Jim Bob and Michelle have also threatened to sue the city of Springdale, Arkansas, for an undisclosed amount since the city released the police reports and court documents that made public Josh molested underage girls as a teenager.
Should the Duggars ask fans for money? Do you think it is safe for Jessa to travel for paid appearances while 30-plus weeks pregnant? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
