'NBA 2K16' Gameplay, Updates, Release Date News: New Features, College Teams Coming to Basketball Simulator
NBA 2K16 is getting closer to its Sept. 29 release date. Fans of NBA 2K games are excited for the feature-packed game that is already in its preorder stages, according to the Vine Report.
The MyGM mode will allow players to control every aspect of managing a professional basketball team. This mode has gone to a much deeper level in NBA 2K16, according to Operation Sports.
In MyGM mode, players will have to develop relationships with other GMs, their staff and their players. MyGM mode requires players to earn experience as they progress through the game. As time goes on, upgrades and perks will be awarded as the GM gets better at their job.
Of course the GM will have to select the right players, but he will also have to set prices on tickets and even refreshments at the stadium. New features in NBA 2K16 MyGM mode include the capability of relocating teams, advanced team building, SimCast Live, Staff Carousel, an all-new NBA Draft and NBA Draft Lottery, a news ticker, summer leagues and the 2K Hoops Summit.
Players will be able to pick up unsigned free agents and rookies and develop them into an NBA star.
MyGM mode might take advantage of the several planned college teams that will make an appearance in the game. There will be several popular college teams involved in NBA 2K16, and players should be able to develop these young future stars in the MyPlayer mode.
Players that preorder the game now will be rewarded with Virtual Currency (VC) that they can use in the game and other in-game bonuses. By preordering the digital copy of NBA 2K16, players will be able to play the game on Sept. 25 instead of Sept. 29.
There is also a special edition of NBA 2K16 that will feature Michael Jordan on the cover. This special edition comes with several in-game items for Michael Jordan and some VC too.
