Meek Mill Responds to Drake Diss With New Track 'Wanna Know'
After Meek Mill went on social media last week to accuse Drake of not writing his own lyrics, Drake remained quiet a few days before retaliating with yet another diss track in "Back to Back Freestyle."
Then Mill released his own diss track, "Wanna Know," in which he continued to accuse Drake of not writing his lyrics and brought up the time that T.I.'s friend allegedly urinated on Drake in a movie theatre.
"Wanna Know" premiered on New York radio station Hot 97 and was released on Soundcloud, Rolling Stone reports. The cover art for the diss track features a photoshopped image of Drake's face edited onto the body of a Milli Vanilli member.
"You really sweet, I call you buttercup / You f**king dork, you changed the style because you studied us / Coming with the same flow / Switching up your lingo / We just want a refund, this ain't what we paid for," Mill raps on the track, which also features WWE's The Undertaker's signature gong intro.
He adds, "I just wanna know, I just wanna know / Was it Quentin Miller? Was it Hush or was it Detail where you really got your flow," listing three of Drake's rumored ghostwriters.
Buzzfeed reports that since releasing "Wanna Know," Mill has been slammed by many social media users and the social media accounts of mainstream corporations and public figures expressing their extreme dislike toward the song.
