Washington Redskins star DeSean Jackson clearly pointed out that he is NFL's best wide receiver, and even the league's top cornerbacks like Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks and Darrelle Revis of the New York Jets can't stop him.

Jackson confidently shrugged off Redskins' CB Chris Culliver's challenge in practice as he stated that even the greatest cornerbacks in the league cannot guard him, ESPN reported.

"I don't think no one can guard me. It's how I feel about myself. I don't feel no one can stop me. You can get Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman - whoever you want to get," Jackson said.

The 28-year-old can actually backup his claims. Last season, he made his presence known for the Redskins.

As ESPN stated, last year, the California native tallied "13 catches for 40 yards or more," which is a kind of performance and results that nobody else in the league in his position ever came close to. Jackson's average of 20.88 yards per catch is also more than three yards the next best receiver's average.

Even before moving to the Redskins, he posted outstanding 2013 receiving stats of 82 catches for 1,332 yards with nine touchdowns with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he was cut, following an investigative report linking him to gangs. 

His release from Philadelphia may have fueled his drive to become a better player, as he was firm about his innocence. He also said he was just a victim of a smear campaign.

"I got a second chance to play in the NFL and I'm proving I'm one of the best receivers in the game... I had an awesome year and I'm going to have another awesome year. End of the day, I play football at a high level so I don't care too less anything about nothing. Go look up the No. 1 receiver in the NFL. I'm the No. 1 receiver. So I'm not getting caught up. I know what I can do," Jackson declared, as quoted by ESPN in an earlier article.

True enough, in just two games after being cut, he helped Washington end the Eagles' chance of making the playoffs last season.

In the upcoming season, the Redskins will implement more offensive action and will "run the ball more," as shared by Jackson. Thus, with this kind of gameplan, Sherman, Revis and other CBs in the league might really have a harder time tackling Jackson.
