Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald Pregnancy News 2015: Jessa Posts 27-Week Baby Bump Photo, Does Her Pink Attire Hint Baby Girl?
Now 27 weeks and three days into her pregnancy, former "19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa (Duggar) Seewald gave fans an update this week on Instagram -- a look at her growing baby bump. She and husband Ben Seewald, 20, have not revealed the gender of their child yet, but the pink clothing, cell phone case and text in the photo she posted on Wednesday have fans buzzing the baby's a girl.
Jessa, 22, is entering her third trimester. She looks happy with the progress of both her marriage and pregnancy, posting many Instagram pictures of domestic bliss at the Seewald home.
She and Ben's first child is due Nov. 1, which marks the one-year anniversary of their marriage.
The birth of her first child is a positive event in Jessa's life following new that she and her sister Jill Dillard were victims of older brother Josh Duggar's sex abuse when he was a teenager. Later, she and the Duggar family faced the cancellation of their hit TV show "19 Kids and Counting."
Jessa has gradually returned to social media, offering devoted fans regular updates on the progress of her baby.
Her return to social media hasn't been without controversy. In July, she shared an Instagram photo of her feet in pink sandals, Ben's feet in gray dress shoes and between them a pair of white baby shoes with laces. Fans immediately reacted with a debate as to whether the white shoes indicated the newborn would be a boy or girl.
"Guess it's a boy then. Those shoes are very masculine," follower bethlything commented.
Instagram follower rebecca_ellengI offered another theory: "Guarantee that it's a girl considering the fact that Jill posted girl shoes when it was a boy so it would make sense to follow tradition. The clues pretty much add up."
In April, the couple announced the pregnancy. Jessa and Ben confirmed to People magazine they know their child's gender but declined to reveal the baby's sex until birth.
