Sorry, gamers, but the release date of "Titanfall" for the Xbox 360 has been delayed.

Patrick Soderlund, EVP of EA studios recently announced through the company's website, "The team at Respawn is putting the finishing touches on a game that I think will truly demonstrate the possibilities of this generation. The Xbox One and PC versions will be available on March 11 in North America and beginning March 13 in Europe."

He added, "Blueprint is doing the same with the Xbox 360 version. To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe."

Soderlund ensured gamers that the two-week-delay is necessary so that they have an "awesome experience" while playing the game.

Recently, Respawn announced that it will be holding tech tests for the game's alpha version on Xbox One. This was shortly followed by Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella's tweet about the exclusive release of the beta version for Xbox One and PC.

With all the special treatment PC and Xbox One gamers are getting, Xbox 360 gamers can't help but feel left out of the experience of getting to know the game before its official release. But, as Cinemablend pointed out, the delay can be attributed to the game creators' marketing strategies. Of course, given the newer Xbox One and the ever-reliable PC consoles, it's no surprise that creators prioritized the release of the game for these devices instead of for the older models.

But don't feel left out, Xbox 360 gamers. You guys have the advantage of going through a variety of "Titanfall" previews with all the beta and alpha releases of the game. Before you burn your hard-earned cash on it, you'll be able to see for yourself if it's really worth your playing time and money.
