Nia Guzman Tells Chris Brown to Spend More on His Daughter Royalty and Less on Expensive Cars
Nia Guzman isn't a financial adviser, but she seems willing to assume the role where Chris Brown, the father of her young daughter, is concerned.
Hollywood Life reports Guzman is strongly advising the "Loyal" singer to stop spending so much money on his fancy cars and instead invest more of it into year-old daughter Royalty.
Guzman's advice comes just days after Brown slammed her for using their daughter as a "meal ticket" in reportedly seeking to have the amount of the monthly child support he pays significantly raised.
"Nia thinks Chris is arrogant and delusional if he thinks she's using Royalty as a pawn," said a source. "Puh-lease. Nia just wants her daughter to be set for life and doesn't think she's being unrealistic in what she wants from him monetarily."
The source added, "Maybe if Royalty was a car, Chris would have already written a check for several million dollars. That's the type of stuff Nia's disgusted with. He will drop millions on cars, rims, tires, Jordan sneakers - all that fabulous crap - but won't make sure Royalty's living in the lap of luxury. That part, that part right there, drives Nia crazy."
Through all the drama, Brown's attorney, John "Bo" Nichols, insists his client is hoping for a peaceful ending.
"We're always hoping for an amicable outcome that can be resolved by both parents," he said. "I think it's in everyone's best interest to keep this case out of the media and therefore, I'm refusing to discuss the specific allegations made and the detailed facts of the case. It's just in the child's best interest that it happens this way. But if it can't, then that's what the courts are for."
Brown recently filed legal documents seeking to legally establish that he is Royalty's biological father, a move viewed by many to be aimed at protecting his rights as a parent.
