Bryan Singer has released new images of the upcoming film "X-Men: Apocalypse."

Singer took to Instagram to show behind-the-scenes footage of his upcoming film, and this time revealed a number of new characters.

A fresh batch of new photos taken from the set of "X-Men: Apocalypse" offer a sneak-peek at Angel, as well as a look at the film's new costumes.

In the first image he released, he shows Ben Hardy's Angel hanging out in a 1980s fight club in Berlin. The character is shown through a monitor and the image looks very intense.

The second image is a silhouetted look at the new costumes. The costumes are against a green screen, and this could be inside the X-men base that has already been seen in the first trailer.

In the last image Singer stands below a giant metal X, and there is another green screen.

Throughout the process, Singer has taken to Social media revealing new costumes, characters and sets. He has created more anticipation for the film, which is a followup to the successful "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"Apocalypse" will feature new characters including Jean Grey, Storm, Cyclops and Nightcrawler. The film will also see Psylocke and Moira MacTaggert. The film also promises to contain more special effects as well as bigger action sequences.

The plot for "Apocalypse" is unknown, but based on the first trailer it seems like Apocalypse will be a terrible villain that will confront the X-men and divide them.

The film stars Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Nicholas Hoult as Beast and Evan Peters as Quicksilver.

The movie is slated to open on May 27, 2016, and should be the final part to the X-Men trilogy.
