'The Whispers' Episode 11 Spoilers: Wes Keeps the Children Away From Drill in 'Homesick'
Things just keep on taking a darker turn on ABC's "The Whispers" as Drill seems to find the children wherever they go and no place is out of his reach. Desperate to save the children as well as his own, Wes devises a plan to keep them away and render Drill weak.
On Monday's episode titled, "Darkest Fears," Drill's persistence and ability to find the children have sparked a deep fear in Lena (Kristen Connolly) that she will be unable to protect Minx (Kylie Rogers).
She decided to take her daughter to a cruise to cut off Drill's access through the power lines. Wes (Barry Sloane) thought it was a brilliant idea and gave them his blessing, reminding his daughter to be good while she's away.
But Minx convinced Lena to stay.
Drill's evil plans then ensued. Lena stepped into a puddle of water in the kitchen and was electrocuted. Wes came home to a shocking scene, seeing Minx looking blankly ahead, his wife's body seemingly lifeless.
Wes is now more determined to stop Drill. He seeks the approval of President Winters (Martin Cummins) to have the children all stay in a safe zone in next week's episode called "Homesick," reported TV Guide.
Wes came up with the plan to round the children up with the idea that keeping them away from Drill will prevent him from manipulating them. He also thought that Drill's distance from the kids will weaken his strength and resolve.
It remains to be seen if Wes' idea will succeed and if keeping them in a protected area will be enough to shelter them from Drill. Next week's episode will show whether Drill's reach has its limits or if there is no safe place for the children anymore.
"Homesick" is the eleventh episode in season one and with the finale nearing, things are expected to get more terrifying, thrilling and exciting for the fans of the series.
Wes, Claire and Sean will do their best to stop Drill before more gruesome accidents happen and more children are dragged into his diabolical plan.
Spoilers Guide noted that Alison Tatlock and Michael Russell Gunn wrote the screenplay for next week's episode with Ken Fink at the directorial chair.
"The Whispers" air every Monday nights at 10 p.m. on ABC Network.
