After the gore fest on the last episode of "Scream," the next episode is sure to turn some heads. According to TV Guide, the episode is titled "Ghosts" and airs on MTV next Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 9 p.m. EDT.

What has become apparent for the TV series is that it is trying to, in some way, out-bloody its predecessor.

Spoilers Guide reports that the next episode may be just as bloody as the previous one. Emma is shaken to the core already, but when you add another death to her rising toll of dead friends, she is sure to break. That is the case in "Ghosts."

To top off the never-ending theme of death in the young teen's fragile mind, she also gets the added bonus of learning secrets from her mother's past. Little by little, she gets a new secret exposed to her every week and on the next episode, she gets yet another one.

As if dealing with murders were not enough for the young lady, she found out in the last episode that there is much more to her mother's past than she ever wanted to know, according to MTV.

Emma's mother finally revealed the secrets that she never told her about Brandon James. She told her that James was not just some crazed murderer, but he was her friend. They used to leave each other things such as gifts or notes. They communicated freely.

The real secret that Emma's mother never told her comes when she finds therapy session tapes for her absent father when he was a teenager. These tapes revealed that her mother cheated on him when they were younger, not with just anybody, but with Brandon James. This of course leads to the possible theory that James may be her biological father.

The episode capped off with one of the bloodiest scenes on television, when Will was recaptured by the killer and set up for a kill scene that Emma inadvertently started by crossing a trip wire. The ultimate result was Will's dismemberment and Emma was covered from head to toe with his brains and other parts of his body.
