Separated couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom had a nasty encounter on the streets of Los Angeles last Wednesday morning.

A report from TMZ said the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" starlet was "ambushed" by his soon-to-be ex-husband on Wednesday while she was heading into a SoulCycle class. An eyewitness told TMZ that Odom wanted to talk to her, but Kardashian ignored him. When the former NBA player reached for her hand, she screamed at him.

According to the witness, a bystander asked the reality star if she wanted to call the cops and Odom yelled, "You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom."

Apparently, Kardashian had no clue how Odom knew of her whereabouts. TMZ's sources said she ran to her car and drove away.

The "major shock" has led to her considering drastic steps to make sure the incident doesn't happen again, according to Hollywood Life. A source shared how affected the outspoken Kardashian was by her ex saying, "Khloe has no idea how Lamar knew she was there. She's scared he could be having her followed or that he could have put spyware on her phone."

The source added that in light of Odom's recent antics, Kardashian is disposing of her mobile phones, changing passwords and freaking out.

Her family is also encouraging her to take out a restraining order on her former lover, a report from PerezHilton said.

Odom defends himself

Odom spoke up about the violent encounter between the pair, telling TMZ in a video that the reports were untrue. "Nobody got hassled, nobody got grabbed on, nobody got followed, none of that happened," he said. "It's ridiculous, it's crazy, I don't know what kind of move that is, but it's not the truth."

The blow-up between the ex couple comes a month after Kardashian spoke of Odom glowingly in an interview with Complex magazine.

"Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I've ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him," she said. "I think Lamar's gonna always be that person [for me] but that's what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever and I'm grateful I did."

When asked if she ever missed Odom, Kardashian answered, "Oh my god, I miss him every day. I miss what we had-things we got to do together are just memories."
