As Marvel moves into the Phase 3 of its Cinematic Universe, fans are now eager to know more details about the movies included on this stage. Studio Head Kevin Feige recently visited the D23 event and offered fans a glimpse of concept art for the upcoming "Doctor Strange," which will star Benedict Cumberbatch.

"Doctor Strange" will begin with "Captain America: Civil War" in Marvel's Phase 3 beginning 2016.

Feige attended the event in California to promote both movies beginning with the film adaptation of the neurosurgeon-turned-superhero. The studio chief described the upcoming movie to be unique and one of a kind.

He promised the audience the movie will continue to "push the boundaries" of the cinematic universe of the stories based from Marvel comic books. Feige added that fans will definitely be excited with "Doctor Strange" and the many things he will bring to the story.

"I'm very excited to be taking on 'Doctor Strange' for Marvel," said Feige to the audience. "He's an extraordinary character and brings in a whole other dimension... hmm... MULTIPLE dimensions to the Marvel universe."

Aside from the hint that the Quantum Realm of "Ant-Man" will play a bigger part in the world of "Doctor Strange," Cumberbatch himself teased of other things that fans can expect from movie.

"Girls, cars, astral projection. The usual fare," told the "Sherlock" actor via a video message to his fans. Cumberbatch was not able to attend the event due to other commitments but he sent a video to the audience instead, reported io9.

The Marvel Studio chief also showed fans a teaser reel of concept art that will be the inspiration for "Doctor Strange." The reel showed the actor in a traditional outfit with a red cloak as well as in another attire that looked similar to a trench coat, noted IGN.

Baron Mordo also made another concept art, which showed a darker and muted version of Doctor Strange's colors as the character is dressed in grey and black tones with his trademark goatee.

Tilda Swanton's "The Ancient One," whose gender remains ambiguous, was portrayed as a woman in the concept art video.

The video also hinted the possible setting and plotline for the movie, which will see the origin of Doctor Strange and show him in different places including New York City and perhaps China, where he meets "The Ancient One."

Scott Derrickson will begin filming in November 2015, as the movie is set to hit theaters in November 4, 2016.
