The beloved dancers of "Dancing with the Stars" might experience a bit of a shake-up for Season 21 as another popular cast member, Kym Johnson, might not opt to reappear in the popular television competition.

According to a report from The Courier Mail, the talented Johnson could miss out on next season's DWTS due to a conflict in schedules. The 39-year-old Australian is a participant in DWTS Australia, and the date of the grand finals Down Under is set to take place at around the same time the U.S. series begins.

A representative from Seven Network talked to The Courier Mail to address the issue saying, "If we find ourselves in this dilemma, there's always a way to work things out. And we would because Kym's part of the (Channel 7) family."

Johnson is an integral part of the U.S. franchise as well, winning the coveted mirror ball trophy twice with Donny Osmond and Hines Ward. While the professional dancer was not able to dance to victory in Season 20, Johnson now enjoys a blossoming romance with her former dance partner and Shark Tank star, Robert Herjavec.

Johnson is not the only DWTS mainstay who might find herself out of the competition next season. Last May, one of the show's most recognizable dancers, Derek Hough, expressed his uncertainty at returning. He said in a TV Guide blog post, "I don't know for sure yet if I'm coming back next season. That's still a few months away and I'm not looking that far ahead yet. I still have two more seasons in my contract, so we'll see."

The 30-year-old had a disappointing fourth place exit last season.

There's only a few weeks to go before the DWTS Season 21 kicks off, but the competitors are being kept under wraps. Some of the celebrities rumored to be tapped to step into their dancing shoes are Scott Disick, Shay Mitchell, Nick Jonas, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Lindsay Lohan, among others.

Although there were rumors of Caitlyn Jenner being part of the next season, the "I Am Cait" star's publicist denied the reports.

"There is not nor have there ever been any negotiations on this matter," the representative told Entertainment Tonight. "They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said no thank you. That is the extent of the communication."

"Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 will debut on September 14, on ABC.
