Justin Bieber DUI Arrest: Pop Star Fights Release of Police Video Showing Him Urinating in Miami Jail Cell
After his arrest on Jan. 23, Justin Bieber is reportedly fighting the release of police video, which shows him urinating in a Miami jail cell.
Miami police have already released one video of the 19-year-old's arrest, showing him being frisked at the station after being taken into custody. While Bieber was leaning on a table, his entire body was patted down by the officers as he was forced to comply with their orders.
However, the troubled pop star is certainly more worried about the second footage, which allegedly shows him peeing in his holding cell. Justin Bieber's lawyers are currently asking the court, attempting to block the clip from being released since it shows the singer in "various states of undress, which show personal parts."
"Justin is seen several times stumbling around while he was taking his tests. As if he had a problem with his balance..." a source said. "[The Video] also shows Justin taking his various tests and eventually taking a piss."
"The stumbling and going to the bathroom is obviously reason enough for his attorneys to request it be sealed..." the source added. "If I was trying to paint a picture that my client was innocent ... I wouldn't want a video of him stumbling around and looking out of it to go public either."
Justin Bieber was under the influence of prescription drugs, including Xanax, and marijuana at the time of his arrest. Later tests revealed his blood alcohol level was below the limit for drivers, however at the age of 19, he is still underage. The "Bad Day" singer is facing charges of DUI, drag-racing and driving with an invalid license.
