‘Blue Bloods’ Season 6 Spoilers: Danny and a Serial Killer Mix It Up in Premiere
Season 6 of "Blue Bloods" is expected to start with a bang, following the harrowing ordeal that the Reagans faced in season 5. They pulled through, although not unscathed, and the family was last seen back together and glad to be alive.
According to CarterMatt, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) will have to once again go above and beyond to protect his family and the people he loves. But this is not just some street justice or a random episode. He gets caught up in the crosshairs of serial killer who threatens him personally.
It seems as though the killer will have a personal vendetta against Danny, and the rising tension turns to terror. Not only does Danny have to race against the clock to find the serial killer, but he must watch his back at every turn and make sure that his family remains safe during the ordeal.
We also learn that Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) is looking to move up in the world, as she attempts to go after a judgeship. This could lead her to better things, but fate does not always make it that easy for the family.
Patriarch Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) will get caught up in the politics of the season. This time, he comes under fire from a mayoral candidate, who accuses him of corruption. It might not help his case too much that his family serves in various capacities of law enforcement. But fans have seen that play out before.
Here is the official synopsis for the premiere episode of season 6 below:
"Danny and Baez investigate a possible serial killer who sends a chilling message to Danny. Also, Erin toys with the idea of applying for a judgeship, Frank is in a bind when a mayoral candidate accuses him of corruption and Eddie must face her estranged father when he winds up in the hospital."
Fans can catch up with season 5 episodes on the CBS website. Season 6 premieres on Sept. 25.
