Dave Grohl, lead singer for the Foo Fighters, has been know to take his stage persona to the fans and show mountains of class in the process. This includes breaking his leg on stage and coming back to finish the show, posting some of his original fan mail to '80s era punk bands, and now, bringing a drunk fan on stage who was crying during his acoustical set of "My Hero."

According to Spin, Grohl spotted the drunken fan while playing the acoustic version of his iconic song and called him out. He played with a him a little before he invited him on stage to sing with him.

The episode played out in classic Grohl style as fans enthusiastically cheered on Grohl for showing the man some class while still carrying on a comical conversation with him.

The two finished off the song and the man was visibly stunned by this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will live on for generations thanks to the amateur video that was shot on the scene.

Grohl has been known to engage with his fans in comical ways, which included his fall at a European show where he broke his leg. He fell of the stage with the microphone still in his hand. Even the band stopped playing the song they were in the middle of. Grohl spoke to the audience with humility and comedy about what he had just done, while laying on the floor in the front row awaiting EMTs.

He ended up coming back to the show later that night where fans waited for him and finished the concert for his screaming audience.

Grohl's leg was still broken when he played the show in Greenwood Village, Colorado that featured the incident with drunken singer. Grohl sat on a stool with his crutches beside him when he invited him to the stage.
