'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' PS4 Beta Now Available; How to Get Beta Codes
PlayStation 4 will soon acquire the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Beta, and there are several reasons why fans of the game should pay attention to some significant changes on the game itself.
According to Polygon, the game has become "faster, jumpier and gorier" with immense changes on the multiplayer setting. Players are encouraged to be very resourceful when discovering most of the game mechanics. Treyarch has also included more severe and brutal combat devices that could literally blow up the opposing enemy. Such devices include exploding arrows and grenade launchers.
The Beta file's size is about 12.5 GB with varied download time depending on the player's location. The competitive multiplayer game will limit itself to that, and, so far, has not given a shot on Zombies content.
The Beta version of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" has a total of seven working modes: Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Demolition, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Capture the Flag and Search and Destroy. These modes will also be accompanied with maps such as the Evac (an emergency evacuation zone), Hunted (a hunting lodge with an underwater pathway) and the Combine (vertical farming).
A player, who sees through the game and can handle the scrimmage will move forward to a level, where they can try the new Specialist.
According to PlayStation's blog, day one of the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will open Specialists such as Prophet, Outrider, Seraph, Ruin and Nomad. Two new Specialist were also included on the list that were not mentioned before, Battery and Spectre. As mentioned by Polygon, there are several revamped features on the game, including weapon customization.
PlayStation refused to acknowledge whether there will be additional modes as each player levels up, but they encourage players to finish playing the whole Beta from Aug. 19 to 23.
Attack of the Fan Boy may also have something for players, who wish to acquire the Beta Code. All they need to do is to check the site's impression of the Beta, tweet them at @FanboyAttack with the BO3Beta hashtag, along with an original "pick-up" line. Don't stray far, as the website will soon announce the winners and the Beta codes will be provided. The codes given away will only be available for PS4 users in North America.
