We are less than a month away from the launching of the new Apple iPhones.

As excitement for the next generation handsets continues to built up, rumors and leaks have been profusely reported. The most recent of which has indicated that aside from the Space Gray, Silver and Gold variants, the new iPhones would also come in a new pink-colored casing.

A new batch of supposed leaks from a Chinese website has showed what the iPhone 6S would look like sporting the "Rose Gold" color option.

GSM Arena was quick to point out that the images might be doctored since there are angles which showed the device to be "too pink."

There is still hope for pink lovers, though, as this wouldn't be the first time the tech giant has experimented on other color schemes to encase its iPhones with. Apple literally struck gold with the last "S" iPhone as a gold variant of the 5S unexpectedly became a smash hit. It would be logical for Apple to take the risk again on the new iPhones. So, a "Rose Gold" colored option might not be too far-fetched after all.

MacRumors has even speculated earlier that Apple has in fact been planning on a new color scheme for the new iPhones.

To add to the legitimacy to the leaks, the new iPhones have already undergone mass production. Given their September release date, it is probable that some testers have already had their hands on the "Rose Gold" handsets and aren't too shy about prematurely showcasing the devices online.

As for the iPhone 6S's specs, reports have claimed that the device will have a faster LTE chip with the new A9 processor and 2GB of RAM. It will be fitted with a 12MP main camera with 4K video recording. The handset will be Force Touch-enabled like the latest Macbook and will run on the iOS version 9.

Apple is also set to address some major complaints from the last iPhones with the upcoming handsets. The new iPhones are expected to have longer battery lives as well as a stronger aluminum casing, to avoid another "bendgate" controversy.

A recent aluminum "Bend Test" confirms this to be true.

"While the results show that the iPhone 6 casing is likely 6000 series aluminum and consists of about 98% of the material, the purported iPhone 6S case is believed to be 7000 series, the same aluminum used on Apple Watch Sport. It consists of a lower 92.8% of aluminum with 6.1% zinc being the next highest amount of material," 9to5Mac said of the results.

The new iPhones are rumored to go on sale starting on Sept. 25, while pre-orders will begin a week before, specifically, on Sept. 18.
