Kendall Jenner New York Fashion Week: KUWTK Star Struts Runway in Sheer Top and Wig for Marc Jacobs [PICS]
This probably might be a big break for Kendall Jenner's modeling career -- the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star strutted down the runway for Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 Show at New York Fashion Week on Thursday.
The 18-year-old certainly wowed the spectators at the event as she revealed her quite shocking transformation on the catwalk. She flaunted her enviable slender figure in a sheer light brown v-neck top, cropped trousers in two dull tones, and matching tights and shoes. The young model was hardly recognizable in sharp brunette bobbed wig paired with dark purple headband, as well as her dramatic eye makeup and powered out eyebrows.
Jenner's half-sister Khloé Kardashian, who was extremely proud of Kendall, took to her Instagram page to share several photos at the show. "My baby sister killed it today walking in the Marc Jacobs fashion show!!!" she wrote the following caption. "Kenny you are so dope to me!!! Congrats my baby!!! #NYFW #MarcJacobs #ProudSis." Kim Kardashian also posted a snapshot saying, "Proudest sister ever!!!!! @kendalljenner walking in the Marc Jacobs show! #NYFW."
Kendall Jenner began her modeling career by signing to Wilhelmina agency at the age of 14. She then signed with new prestigious agency The Society Management back in November -- the same modeling agency that represents Adriana Lima.
The teenager previously revealed that she realized she wanted to become a model when she was 13 years old, and she wanted to be taken more seriously, away from her notorious reality television series. "I don't think some people take me very seriously. When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modeling and it wasn't like, what I wanted to be exactly," she said. "I want to be more high fashion; I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I'll just prove myself."
Kendall Jenner also said that she wishes to work with the known brands, such as Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. "All those big ones are my ultimate dream," she said, adding that she had only recently become interested in walking the runway. "Editorial more, but I do runway. I didn't think I'd want to do it but I've grown a love for it. It's so fun for me."
