Final Fantasy VII for iOS Cheats, News: Classic RPG Comes to Apple Devices, Trailer Released [Watch]
Cloud Strife is back in "Final Fantasy VII," and now he is playable on Apple iOS devices.
"Final Fantasy VII," known as one of the greatest role playing games of all time, can now be played on the iOS operating system, CNET reports.
Fans are already expressing their happiness on the Apple iTunes Stores.
"Thank you thank you thank you! I have waited so long for this," one customer wrote on Australia's iTunes store, expressing his excitement for Final Fantasy VII.
"Final Fantasy VII" is a role-playing game (RPG) that features main characters Cloud, Barrett and Tifa through the game's many levels. The main characters are fighting the evil power company Shinra and the soldier Sephiroth.
The iOS release of the game is very similar to its PC counterpart. The graphics will be slightly better than the original 1997 PlayStation version of the game. Since it is designed for iOS devices with touchscreens, the game will feature an easy to control interface to make moving characters easier.
Some extra additions have been added to the mobile version of the game that purists may not care for. Players will be able to turn off random enemy encounters while walking and there is also a cheat that will bump up all the player's vital numbers to their maximum levels. This means the characters in the game will be at level 99 with 9,999 hit points and they will have 999,999,999 gil -- the game's currency -- to purchase items with.
By enabling these cheats, the classic RPG experience is lost since RPGs are meant to be a player's quest to level up their character. With the random enemies turned off, players will be able to cruise through the game without interruptions.
"Final Fantasy's" developer Square Enix is also putting out a card game called Final Fantasy Portal. In the game, players will collect cards from all the "Final Fantasy" games and use them to battle online or against the computer.
"Final Fantasy VII" for iOS costs $15.99. Watch the trailer below:
