The second week of the 2015-16 season of German Bundesliga will kick off on Friday at the Olympiastadion.

Hertha Berlin vs Werder Bremen

Hertha Berlin will look to start a Bundesliga season with two consecutive victories for the first time in club history, when they take on Werder Bremen on Friday.

Hertha kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 victory against FC Ausburg last week, off a successful penalty kick from Salomon Kalou. Against Bremen, they will look to record their best start in a season, but Werder are also expected to go all out.

Werder took a humbling 3-0 loss to Schalke 04 in their season opener. According to the official league website, Werder have never started 0-2 over the past 16 seasons.

Bayern Munich vs Hoffenheim

Bayern Munich will look to pick up from where they left off, when they collide with TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday at Rhein-Neckar Arena in Sinsheim, Germany.

Bayern Munich sent a strong message to the rest of the field in Week 1 after scoring an impressive 5-0 over Hamburg SV, while Hoffenheim took a 2-1 loss to Bayern Leverkusen.

Hoffenheim forward Kevin Volland is eyeing an upset, but he admitted that they need to play a perfect game to have a chance against the powerhouse club.

"We want to spring a surprise, but that's always really, really hard to do against Bayern," Volland said of facing Bayern Munich. "We need a perfect day."

FC Ingolstadt 04 vs Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund will also try to stay on top of the Bundesliga 2015-16 table, when they visit FC Ingolstadt 04 on Sunday.

Dortmund also started the season on a high note, as they cruised to a 4-0 win against Gladbach. On Thursday, Dortmund also scored a come-from-behind 4-3 win against Odds in the Europe League qualifier.

Ingolstadt also started the season with a victory. They scored a 1-0 win against Mainz in Week 1 off a 66th-minute goal from Lukas Hinterseer.
