'Ratchet and Clank' Demo for PS4 Spotted on GameStop Prior to Launch
"Ratchet and Clank" is not up for release until 2016, but users have already spotted its demo on some GameStop Kiosk, particularly in North America lately.
Although it is not confirmed whether all GameStop Kiosks have the game demo available, fans who wish to try it may contact the nearest one in their region to confirm. According to a Reddit user, GameStop recently made the game's E3 demo on their kiosk. The user even explored the controls, which were similar to that of Ratchet and Clank E3 demo with a few adjustments on its controls.
When asked about the date of its release or when will "Ratchet and Clank" be available in stores featured on powerupgaming.co, Insomniac Games dodged the question by posting a Twitter response saying, "That is a question for Sony."
This means that it is not up to the developer to confirm its actual date of release but Sony. Several users have already gone through the joys of trying the game's demo. Another article featured on Ratchet Galaxy revealed some of its controls that make the game work. Although the demo is just part of the whole game, users have observed its excellent graphics. Some of the featured controls include R1+X, which launches Ratchet's helipack, L2+square that enables wrench comet and O for the fire button.
Also featured on the Ratchet Galaxy website is an interview with T.J Fixman, former writer of Insomniac Games for "Ratchet and Clank" answered significant questions on Facebook without giving official and final decision about it because of his departure. When asked whether Ratchet will eventually find the lombaxes, Fixman simply implied that while he had the vision of leading Ratchet to the lombaxes, the new system may finally find something more interesting to say about it. He also confirmed that the "Ratchet and Clank" world would not include any human form; however, this could be altered by the new writer.
T.J Fixman also expressed his ideas about Ratchet's fate (should it finally fulfill its mission in the game), his whole identity as well as the character's drive to continue with the challenges. Ratchet may eventually change, but Fixman said that this is up to the writer whether he will continue with the storyline, or another writer will fill in the shoe.
"Ratchet and Clank" is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 4 by 2016 as announced recently at the E3 event.
