A murder case may have become even more gruesome yesterday when the murderer claimed to have killed more than 20 other victims across the country. In an interview with a local Pennsylvania newspaper, Miranda Barbour, 19, admitted to murdering 22 others.

According to the Sunbury, Pa. Daily Item, the local newspaper following the story in great detail, the teenager admitted to being part of a satanic cult and murdering 22 people as part of said group. In the past six years she has murdered in Alaska, Texas and North Carolina, though did not provide any specific details, the article states.

Barbour and her husband Elytte Barbour, 22, were charged with the murder of 42 year-old Troy LaFerrara. According to Reuters, the couple found LaFerrara on Craigslist and agreed to meet him at shopping mall near Harrisburg, Pa. The husband hid in the backseat of the car underneath a blanket and awaited his wife's signal to strangle the middle-aged man while Barbour stabbed him 20 times.

Through a jail telephone, Barbour spoke with the Daily Item and explained her gruesome exploits. She said, "I can pinpoint on a map where you can find them," and added, "I remember everything. It is like watching a movie." She also said that it was her husband's first time killing.

According to Barbour, everything did not go according to plan. "He [LaFerrarra] said the wrong things," she said. "And then things got out of control. I can tell you he was not supposed to be stabbed. My husband was just supposed to strangle him." They dumped LaFerrarra's body in an alley where it was found the next day.

She told the newspaper that she felt it was time to come clean and reveal her past, despite of some people's disbelief in her tales. "I feel it is time to get all of this out," she told the Daily Item. "I don't care if people believe me. I just want to get it out."
