NBA 2K16 Gameplay, Updates, Graphics, Release Date News: New Trailer Shows Extreme Attention to Detail [Watch]
2K Sports released a brand new trailer for NBA 2K16 this week. The trailer shows extreme detail, including Stephen Curry chewing on his mouthguard.
The video starts off with players getting ready for the tip off. James Harden is shown, and his beard looks very similar to how it does on TV. Curry is hopping up and down, getting ready for the game while chewing on his mouthguard, and LeBron James is shown on the bench also chewing on his. Harden's tattoos are also given extreme detail.
After the tip off, the game's action is shown. Curry is shown dribbling and making moves. Other players utilize crossover dribbles and spin moves to get past defenders. Harden is shown sinking a deep shot and celebrating afterward.
There are going to be plenty of different dunk styles showcased in NBA 2K16 according to the trailer. Players will be able to perform monster dunks with players like Blake Griffin.
A great variety of celebrations will be featured in NBA 2K16, from solo celebrations to group celebrations. Depending on the player and team, a different celebration will be displayed after a big play. James flexes his muscles, while Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls struts after making a big play.
The detail added to NBA 2K16 is looking incredible. After off-balanced jump shots, players will stumble or fall to the court, and when there is a loose ball, players will dive to the hardwood to grab it.
Near the end of the video, Curry floats a finger roll for a basket. After the game ends Curry is being interviewed and Draymond Green interrupts the interview with a video bomb of his teammate.
At the very end of the video, a young player is shown inside his home ready to make a big announcement on what college he is headed to. The camera operator is crossing his fingers while the player is about to announce his college of choice. He says he has decided to attend "the great University of..." and the video ends.
According to USA Today, this portion of the video proves that college teams will be included in the game.
