'Spectre' News Update: Tickets to Go On Sale in September?
"Spectre" may still be months away but tickets for the film will go on sale early.
According to Metro U.K., tickets in the U.K. will be on sale on Sept. 7. The tickets will become available at 7 a.m. and lucky buyers will get to watch the film on the same night as the world premiere taking place in London.
There is no word on the date for the American pre-sales but based on the anticipation level of the film, it is likely that Sony will announce the official date for tickets.
The new film is expected to outshine the last, and with the holiday season ahead, "Spectre" could easily top the $400 million mark if enthusiasm is high.
The new "Spectre" is one of the most anticipated films of the year, especially after the success of "Skyfall." "Skyfall" was not only the highest grossing James Bond film of all time but it also took home two Academy Awards out of the five it was nominated for.
It was also among the most critically acclaimed Bond films ever made.
The new film will see Daniel Craig return as James Bond, and this time Bond is sent on a mission around the globe after receiving a cryptic message from the past
The new movie is slated to see Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci as the new Bond girls and will also star Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q and Naomie Harris as Moneypenny. Dave Bautista and Stephanie Sigman will also star in the film.
Meanwhile, Oscar winner Christoph Waltz will star as the main villain in the film.
"Spectre" was directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes and was produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
The film will open on Nov. 6 in the U.S and on Oct. 25 in the U.K.
