'Beverly Hills 90210' Star Brian Austin Green Rents Bel-Air Pad Amidst Separation with Megan Fox
"Beverly Hills 90210" star Brian Austin Green is staying under a different roof after Megan Fox filed for divorce.
The 42-year-old actor who starred in "Wedding Band" is now renting a Bel-Air pad, Variety reported.
The "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" actor is reportedly living in a 5,200-square-foot Los Angeles rental home for $22,000 a month. Although this is a bachelor unit, it is said to be "family-friendly," which could be enough for his two young sons to visit or stay with him from time-to-time.
The Colonial property includes five bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, formal living room, grand dining room, a children's playroom, a personal gym, and a great room, which can serve as the kitchen, dining and family room, too. The expansive house sitting on more than 2.5 acres of California lot also comes with a guesthouse apart from the main house.
The actor's new dwelling place also provides beautiful canyon views and verdant scenery from its "mature gardens." A swimming pool also completes the grounds of the Bel-Air property listed by Hilton & Hyland.
Fox files for divorce
Green and Fox, who first met in 2004 on the set of "Hope & Faith," got married at the Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii in June 2010, according to TMZ. After five years, the pair parted, with the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen " star filing for divorce from the "Anger Management" actor, People reported. The 29-year-old actress' reason for cutting marital ties with the "Desperate Housewives" actor was irreconcilable differences, the outlet noted, citing documents they procured, dated June 15.
A source close to the "Jennifer's Body" lead revealed to the magazine, why the couple called it quits.
"Megan and Brian's split is a classic Hollywood story of two people in different stages of life and career. Megan is young and hot and sought after for work, and she is eager to move ahead in her career. Brian wants more of her time than she can allow. She was overwhelmed with the children and her husband's expectations, which got in the way of work responsibilities. They had many disagreements and arguments about her time at home, which led to problems," the source said.
Although they may have decided to walk separate ways, they have two sons, Noah Shannon, 2, and Bodhi Ransom, 18 months, who will connect them for life. Fox hoped to have "joint physical and legal custody of their sons," People noted.
Green may also get a spousal support from Fox even after their divorce is finalized because of serious vertigo health problem, TMZ added.
