'Dying Light: The Following' DLC to Bring Dune Buggies, Biggest Map & More [Video]
The much-awaited co-op Demo of "Dying Light" has finally arrived and players can get this through the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
According to Gamespot, the DLC will tackle some scenes and challenges in the rural areas of the game as well as a co-op demo that can accommodate up to four players. Combining all challenges and quests within the game, players can expect at least three hours of game time, given that the quests and challenges are conquered initially. The "Dying Light: The Following" demo is said to have been created to increase more sales after the game initially listed five million sales after it was released in January.
In a 15-minute video featured by eurogamer, the obvious effort made by Techland in developing the game's expansion is visible. The set's location has been conceptualized in the rural and country areas instead of the typical city regions. The real challenge is to know whether there's really a group that can totally dismiss the Zombie attacks and most probably immune to their presence. The player's main role is to explore and be one among the combatants against the Zombies. "Dying Light: The Following" is a first-person shooter in a chaotic zombie survival game.
The main character (the player) will have to build trust among the community for them to be able to depend on him in fighting off the zombies. The community will base their trust on the player's ability to fight and the manner by which he conquers every fight scene against a zombie.
According to Cinema Blend, the whole DLC pack is worth $14.99, which includes the 15-minute trailer that basically shows the whole concept of the game and introduces the location and regions where fans will play.
The "Dying Light: The Following" has been one of the major expansions made for the "Dying Light" series. Harran will dominate the game, offering various reasons why it should be explored. The map of "The Following" is said to be the largest among the series. In fact, it is larger than all the combined maps of the "Dying Light" episodes. Along with the new concept of the game are some additional features such as dirt buggies, weapons and dune bases.
According to Gamespot, "The Following" has not released any official statement about its launch date, but fans in the U.S. are reassured of its primary opening along with a season pass.
