Univision reporter Jorge Ramos opened up about his incident with Donald Trump, where he was temporarily kicked out of a Trump press conference in Dubuque, Iowa.

Ramos was forced out of the press conference after he asked the GOP hopeful about his plan on removing 11 million undocumented immigrants from the United States.

The Mexican-American talked to Fox News' Megyn Kelly Wednesday night regarding the incident, according to Fusion. Trump already talked about it a day before saying that Ramos was "out of line."

"The only thing that I wanted to do was to ask a question," Ramos told host Megyn Kelly. "He tried to silence me and in this country you cannot do that. I'm a citizen, I'm an immigrant, I'm a reporter. And I have the right in this country to ask any question I want, to whomever I want."

"He was totally out of line last night," Trump told "Today" host Matt Lauer of the incident. "I was asking and being asked a question from another reporter. I would have gotten to (Ramos) very quickly. He stood up and started ranting and raving like a madman."

Ramos says that he did not interrupt anyone when he tried to ask his questions.

"Two reporters before me asked their questions and then I said I have a question about immigration and nobody else said anything," the reporter recalled. "He didn't like the question, and then he called on another reporter trying to make sure that I would stop."

Ramos went on to say that Trump just does not like to be confronted with tough questions, but it is his job to confront him.

"I think as journalists we have to take a stand when it comes to racism, discrimination, corruption, public lies, dictatorship, and human rights," Ramos said. "And when he's expressing those really dangerous words, we have to confront him."

Trump continues to stand by his comment he made about Mexican immigrants being "rapists" and "killers."
