Kate Mara Goes Pantless

Kate Mara may have seemed like a conservative journalist at the beginning of the Netflix seriesHouse of Cards, but the actress is far from that in her latest photo spread. In GQ, Mara poses in a variety of hot outfits, none of which include pants. The 30-year-old actress titillates in orange lingerie, a fur sweater and sexy business wear.

Besides looking good, Mara also talked about playing Zoe Barnes in season 2 of House of Cards, which was released on Valentine's Day.

"I mean, the dials were really high in the first season," she said. "Beau Willimon [series developer and producer] has a very big imagination. And he and our writing staff, I think they really pulled through this season. Because it's hard to top all the things that happened last season."

Mara says she's "just as excited" as "anyone else" to watch season 2. In order to prepare for her role, she did not shadow journalists, but rather Willimon and executive producer David Fincher.

"But being a journalist wasn't the most important thing for me," she explained. "That was just her job-it could be anything. The most important aspect of Zoe that I felt I needed to understand and wrap my head around was her crazy drive and ambition. Sitting around with Beau and Fincher and Kevin [Spacey], just setting the backstories-that's where I got all of my information."

Greta Gerwig Goes Mainstream

In a move that took the indie world by shock, Frances Ha star Greta Gerwig announced a television deal with a very mainstream channel, CBS.

Gerwig will star as Sally in the How I Met Your Mother spinoff, How I Met Your Dad.  She is described as a "female Peter Pan" who, at the start of the series, realizes that she and her husband don't click after being married for less than a year. Sally moves on to the single life with the help of her family and friends who, The Hollywood Reporter reports, try to give her "good" advice. In classic sitcom style, however, the advice is usually not as good as intended.

The news of Gerwig's latest role, which will prevent her from making any independent films, came as a shock to some fans who know and love Gerwig as the star of indie films like Greenberg.

"Wow. No, Greta Gerwig. No. I mean... Greta Gerwig's gotta eat. But...No. #HIMYD," Daniel Fienberg said via Twitter.

"Frances Ha is too good for this," Zoe Fox tweeted.

"I wish I could sell out like Greta Gerwig... #AllTheHaters" Elvis D said.

Gerwig, however, will have a lot of say in the new role, assuming that the pilot is picked up. According to Variety, she will produce and also plans to be one of How I Met Your Dad's writers. Perhaps Gerwig's decision to star in the CBS sitcom came with more motive than increased stardom.

Jackie Chamoun Goes Topless

Lebanese Olympic  skier Jackie Chamoun shocked her country when topless footage of her surfaced on YouTube.

Chamoun participated in an Austrian calendar shoot featuring male and female skiers at Faraya ski resort. In some pictures, Chamoun poses atop of a snowy mountain topless in pink underwear and topless with green ski pants. In the final pictures, the 22-year-old athlete's breasts are covered with her arms and skis. The calendar was released last year but during Chamoun's time at the Sochi Olympics, behind-the-scenes footage of the photo shoot, which features Chamoun's full exposed breasts, emerged.

"I'm not used to posing with no clothes on," Chamoun says at the end of the video.

The Lebanese government got involved, and Faisal Karami, Lebanon caretaker sports minister, asked the Olympic Committee president "to the take the required steps to [avoid] harming Lebanon's reputation and international participation."

The athlete behaving badly was allowed to participate in the Sochi Olympics. She says the naughty footage was never meant to be seen by the public.

"Anyways, I want to apologize to all of you, I know that Lebanon is a conservative country and this is not the image that reflects our culture," she explained via Facebook. "...All I can ask to each of you who saw this, is to stop spreading it, it will really help me focusing on what is really important now: my trainings and race."

Jenelle Evans Goes to the Moon... Allegedly

Recently, tabloid site Radar Online reported that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was curing her morning sickness with marijuana. The reality star, however, says the story was fabricated by former friends desperate for cash and defended herself like a pro.

Radar Online claimed to have acquired "verified" text messages from Evans's phone, where she asks a friend to smoke weed with her before leaving Los Angeles.

"We can smoke and chill on a huge f**king blunt lol," the Feb. 10 text message reportedly said.

Evans is in her second trimester.

"Let's drive and smoke I don't want to be here," Evans reportedly texted on Feb. 9. "Just down the strip and back or something I need to get away."

The "insider" even claimed that the 22-year-old drives two hours round-trip from her home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to North Carolina's Brunswick County to get $120 worth of her fix. To make matters worse, the source added that Nathan Griffith, the baby's father, recommends shots of Fireball Whiskey to ease the nausea.

Evans believes that her friend Tori Rhyne and her boyfriend, Joshua Galloway, are responsible for the accusations.

"@joshuaallenn77 so then josh gets mad at me and sells a story that I'm smoking weed while pregnant just by hearsay, l Wasn't even there," Evans said via Twitter. "Why would u guys buy some fake screen shots? Lmao @radar_online that's some great 'proof' u got there... I bet they made a fake account to make up that entire convo. Lol"

Evans won't let her name go down without a fight. She has publicly stated that she is "disappointed" in her former "best friend."

"Sometimes when people need quick cash though, they will stoop to any low to get the money," she said. "The events that are being reported didn't even include me, and I was in my room doing homework. Thankfully, my family, and true friends know the truth. I'd never do anything to put the health of my baby in danger, and Nathan wouldn't either."

Alison Brie Goes (Way) Down in Bed

Alison Brie, known for Community and Mad Men, revealed she had a dark side while appearing on Chelsea Lately. Host Chelsea Handler was not surprised, however, as she already knew that the actress is a secret "pretty dirty birdie." 

"See, you know that about me, and people in my personal life and history know that about me, but I never play risqué roles," Brie admitted.

Brie then chronicled what could have been her most risqué role yet: Mary Elizabeth in the 2007 horror film Born. Mary Elizabeth was a 21-year-old virgin who wakes up with a possessed baby growing inside of her.

"And while I'm having sex with this really hot Swedish guy I get possessed," Brie said. "While I'm super pregnant 'cause the demon fetus possesses me, and you know, I need penis."
