There are many victims of injustice in this country. George Zimmerman considers himself one of them. But rest assured, Zimmerman has plans to right this wrong.

You see, Zimmerman no longer wants to be a police officer. He has set his sights higher.

"I'd like to professionally ... continue my education and hopefully become an attorney," Zimmerman told CNN during an interview on Monday. "I think that's the best way to stop the miscarriage of justice that happened to me from happening to somebody else. I don't think it should ever happen to anyone ever again, not one person."

It's unclear what miscarriage of justice Zimmerman is referring to given the fact that he was acquitted of the murder of Trayvon Martin seven months ago. Perhaps he believes he shouldn't have been tried at all given that he considers himself the true victim in all of this.

"I certainly was a victim when I was having my head bashed into the concrete and my nose broken and beaten," Zimmerman says. He believes he has was made a "scapegoat" during the trial for the President and government's political agendas... whatever those agendas may be.

When asked by CNN if he regretted killing Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman dodged around the question. He initially cited a civil rights investigation that somehow prevented him from answering. After more hesitancy, he admitted that he should have stayed home that night as his life would have been made easier.

And Trayvon's life? Well, the topic was clearly one that Zimmerman seemed reluctant to acknowledge, but when asked he said he did think about Trayvon's family as well as his own.

If Zimmerman still feels like a victim then his life following the trial may be contributing to that. He is in massive debt from court costs and is receiving death threats. Despite this, Zimmerman still finds ways to regularly make the news headlines. This first started with a speeding ticket, followed by two domestic disputes, one with his soon-to-be divorced wife and the other with his current girlfriend. He also gained attention when he put some controversial artwork for sale online. Finally, there was the boxing match between him and DMX, cancelled due to a public outcry against the event.

Hated or not, Zimmerman has reached an infamous celebrity status with the media, leading some to criticize CNN for interviewing him in the first place. Have we heard the last of George Zimmerman? It doesn't seem likely.
