'Night at the Museum 3' Release Date, Cast & Plot Updates: Rebel Wilson Reveals Movie Will Launch Christmas
2014 is going to be a good year for Rebel Wilson as she shares with Perezhilton some details on her upcoming film Night At The Museum 3:
"I'm shooting right now Night At The Museum 3, I go to Vancouver on Tuesday to finish that and we just shot some stuff in London! That's really cool, because it's Ben Stiller and Robin Williams, who I think are so great! Robin and I are sharing stories about now being on a network TV show and how hard it is... it's very grueling! That movie's going to be such quality for a family movie. I think people are going to love it. It comes out at Christmas!"
In the film, she'll be co-staring with other funny heavy-weights Owen Wilson, Sir Ben Kingsley as well as Dan Stevens and Ricky Gervais.
This will be the 3rd installment of the Night at the Museum adventure/comedy/fantasy series that follows a night watchman at New York's American Museum of Natural History and discovers that the exhibits in the Museum come to life at night.
Rebel will also be staring in Pitch Perfect 2 which she reveals begin rehearsals in April which is when the fun really happens.
"It's just awesome. I love that kind of stuff. I think the Bellas are signed in now! So Brittany Snow, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp and of course me, and Anna Kendrick are all on board! I can't wait to reunite with everybody, because we've all kind of gone off and been filming our own projects, so it'll be so good to come back together and have fun again!"
Wilson shares she's currently obsessed with Pitbull and Ke$ha but doesn't really have a say in the set list of music. Songs selected need to be current or classic old favorites. "They're keeping it pretty tight-lipped about what the music is - they're just saying the opening number is going to be amazing!"
The Night at the Museum 3 movie is set to be released in 2014 but the exact plot summary of the film as well as other details have yet to be released.
