Top level executives at Subway insist they were never made aware of a former franchisee's potential knowledge about now disgraced former pitchman Jared Fogle once boasting about having sex with minors.

According to People magazine, Cindy Mills alleges Fogle once told her he had paid for sex with minors between the ages of 9 and 16 during a trip to Thailand.

Mills, who owned store franchises in Florida over six years beginning in 2006, claims she immediately turned to a regional representative with the news and later Subway Franchisee Advertising Trust Fund exec Jeff Moody, only to be brushed aside and dismissed.

In their statement, Subway officials added, not only were Mills' concerns never brought to the attention of top management, there is also no record of her complaint being voiced to Moody.

"Jeff served as the CEO of the Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust, a separate franchisee-run organization that operated at a separate address and with a separate staff from Subway corporate," company officials added, stressing that Moody never actually worked for the company. "As previously stated, we have no record of Cindy Mill's complaint to Jeff Moody. We are continuing our investigation into this matter."

Moody has also released his own personal statement to the Associated Press, where he insists he only learned of Fogle's sexual attraction to minors in recent weeks.

Moody added "like any decent human being" he was "shocked" and "repulsed" by the allegations made against Fogle.

Fogle has since admitted that he had sex with at least two minors and engaged in child pornography with at least 12 others, some of them as young as 6 years old.

As part of a plea deal, the 38-year-old married father of two will face up to 12.5 years in prison and pay $1.4 million in restitution to his 14 victims.

He also faces a fine up to $500,000.
