Game developer Guerilla Cambridge announced the release of Update 1.06 for "Killzone: Mercenary". TheVitaLounge reports the update comes with two new multiplayer maps: The Tharsis Depot and the Blood Gracht.

If these two sound familiar to you, it's because they are the redesigned maps from "Killzone 2". Guerilla Cambridge made the announcement through Killzone's official forum.

Here are the descriptions of the maps from the forum:

Tharsis Depot: "After incurring damage during the ISA invasion of Helghan, this subterranean mining platform has been converted to process nuclear Petrusite. Now that it's back in full scale production, the ISA will again battle Helghast and mercenary forces between the structures of Tharsis Depot. This time they intend to finish the job they started. Under the cavern's artificial light this is a great map to play Guerilla Warfare or Warzone on. A Mercenary version of the Killzone 2 classic."

Blood Gracht: "Months after the nuclear blast that ruined most of the city, Pyrrhus is slowly recovering. But now with ISA, Helghast and mercenary troops clashing in the suburb's buildings and winding alleys, the canals once again run red with blood. This fan-favorite multiplayer map from Killzone 2 is ideal for all game modes."

Update 1.06 was made available for download last February 19, at 12pm. According to Polygon, the update requires 167 MB of free storage space on a PlayStation Vita memory card. But for those who haven't downloaded Killzone's previous updates, they need to have 526 MB of free space.

"Killzone: Mercenary" is a first-person shooter game that was first released in September 2013 for the PlayStation Vita. The game takes place in the Vekta and Helghan planets and is set between the events of Killzone 2 and 3. It follows the story of three mercenaries who were hired by the ISA for its various operations.
