'Dancing With The Stars' Season 21 Full Cast Revealed, See List & Surprises Here
"Dancing With The Stars" has finally revealed the cast of its 21st season at the Wednesday episode of "Good Morning America."
The 13 celebrities will be partnered with professional dancers to help them choreograph and prepare their dance routines that will be based on a particular theme given per week.
Host Tom Bergeron was a guest on "Good Morning America" when he announced the names of the participating celebrities.
"Backstreet Boys" member Nick Carter will pair up with Sharna Burgess while legendary singer Chaka Khan has been partnered with Keo Motsepe, reported Variety.
"The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, will also be part of the next season with Derek Hough. Celebrity chef Paula Deen will dance her way through the competition with partner Louis Van Amstel.
Tamar Braxton is paired with Val Chmerkovskiy while jockey Victor Espinoza is partnered with Karina Smirnoff. Kim Zolciak-Biermann is Tony Dovolani's dance partner next season while actor Gary Busey found himself paired up with Anna Trebunskaya.
YouTube sensation Hayes Grier will also join the cast with dance partner Emma Slater and "Honey I'm Good" crooner Andy Grammer is partnered with Allison Holker.
Couple Carlos PenaVega and Alexa PenaVega will go against each other as husband and wife are paired with Witney Carson and Mark Ballas, respectively.
While most of the cast members have been in the spotlight one way or another, one of the 13 celebrity dancers to be included was relatively unknown to the media a few weeks back.
U.S. serviceman Alex Skarlatos and partner Lindsay Arnold complete the 13 pairs that will compete in the 21st season of the popular show.
Skarlatos is the Oregon National Guardsman, who stopped an armed gunman inside the train in Amsterdam on its way to Paris, noted TV Guide.
While he is unsure what the reaction of his fellow servicemen will be when they find out he is part of the show, he expressed his determination to stay long.
"I think it'll be fun. I hope I learn a lot," said Skarlatos to Yahoo. "I'll need to if I'm going to stay on very long."
Meanwhile, Braxton, who is known for her reality TV show "Braxton Family Values" and sister to singer Toni Braxton, said she has not told her family of her participation in the show yet.
In a guesting on "Good Morning America," as per Yahoo, Braxton gave a shout-out to her sisters and said, "This is the reveal. I haven't told them yet. Hi, girls."
Deen, on the other hand, is looking forward to the workout the dance routines will entail.
"This is the first time in a few years that I've felt like my weight would allow me to participate," said the chef. "What I hope I'm going to get out of this is a bunch of new friends and maybe lose some weight and a little better body."
"Dancing With The Stars" will debut on ABC at 8 p.m. on Sept. 14.
