‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6, Episode 9 Recap: Leah Messer Skips Rehab, Nathan Griffith and Jenelle Evans Car Chase [Watch]
Thursday's episode of "Teen Mom 2" was beyond dramatic.
Leah Messer was at a hotel preparing to go to the treatment center while her mother was taking the twin daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah Simms, to her ex-husband, Corey Simms. When Messer's mom, Dawn, told Simms she wanted to take the girls to visit Messer at rehab on Mother's Day, things got ugly.
"I really don't want my kids going somewhere I don't know where they are," Simms said.
He told Messer's mom that she can't take them to visit Messer on Mother's Day because they're his responsibility now.
Simms left with his daughters. Dawn, upset, called to tell Messer the news. Messer freaked out, believing Simms may never give the twins back to her. She decided not to enter the treatment center and got on a plane to return home.
Watch the video to hear Messer's explanation of why she skipped rehab. She claims that Simms refused to put in writing that his custody of the twins was temporary until she returned home from the treatment facility.
Meanwhile, Jenelle Evans cannot stop obsessing over former boyfriend Nathan Griffith, especially the fact he already has a new girlfriend.
She called him to discuss paying for their son Kaiser's daycare, but he claimed to not have any money to pay for it. She told him that she has been the person paying for everything. Nathan changed the subject, telling her she "made me hate myself."
When Evans brought up the possibility of their getting back together, Griffith refused saying that they fought all the time and are not a good match.
Later, Griffith contacted Evans so he could return Kaiser to her. Evans ignored him. Nathan drove to her house, but she doesn't answer the door.
Evans left the house in her car. Griffith, in his truck, follows her onto the highway. He blew up her phone while chasing her down the road -- weaving through traffic. We can only hope Kaiser was not in the backseat.
When Evans finally answered her phone, Griffith ranted that he is missing gym time. Evans told him that she doesn't want to see him. She refused to meet him to pick up Kaiser.
Griffith, enraged, told her, "My gym time, is my gym time. Now I can't go to the gym... You pinned Kaiser on me."
In the end, Kaiser remained with his dad. We don't know if Griffith made it to the gym.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska's daughter Aubree, graduated Pre-K and her dad, Adam Lind, actually attended.
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin fought over Jo Rivera. Rivera stopped by their house to talk about co-parenting Isaac and finances. Marroquin was upset that Rivera was allowed inside their home.
"I don't want him at my house, point blank," Marroquin told Lowry.
Watch the next episode of "Teen Mom 2" on Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
Should Simms have agreed for the twins to visit Messer in rehab on Mother's Day? Do you think Messer overreacted and should have gone to rehab? Do you think Evans should stop contacting Griffith about getting back together? Was she wrong to accept her son when Griffith tried to return him?
