Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour: Why Adore You Singer's Hot New Songs and Performances Are Raising Concern Among Parents
Miley Cyrus's Bangerz tour has been making waves after opening in Canada because of the singer's racy performances. While many people have grown accustomed to Miley's antics, many parents who took their children to see the show were unprepared for and surprised by the singer's stage routines of simulating oral sex on a Bill Clinton lookalike, riding a flying hot dog in a suggestive manner and pretending to masturbate on stage.
"Miley's management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada with calls for the entire tour to be axed," a source told MusicFix.
"I have heard a lot of negative comments from the wardrobe, to the raciness, to a lot of flesh, and when you're hearing about all the things that are coming out from the other shows, you're scared. You don't know what to do. So that's why I'm dumping the tickets," one parent said.
The company in charge of promoting the concert tour has stated that the plan is to go on as usual: "There is no truth whatsoever to any stories or rumors of venues pulling out of the Bangerz Tour. Miley has created a tour that's big, spectacular, entertaining and everything you would expect from Miley Cyrus. Reviews have been amazing and most important, fans are loving the show and having a great time. She can't wait to bring the show to all her fans in Phoenix at US Airways Center on February 27."
Parents need to realize that Miley isn't Hannah Montana anymore and her tour is designed to promote her personal message which she wants to send to teenagers everywhere: "I hope people open their minds and they look at my tour as something that I do feel is educational for kids. Because I think a lot of people aren't exposed to art enough and that's something that I had to learn about."
