Matt Stonie, Competitive Eater, Downs Burritos In An Instant [WATCH]
Matt Stonie, a competitive eater from San Jose, California, amazes everyone once again with his ingest-ability by rapidly devouring massive burritos at a popular eatery franchise, Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Filmed by his own brother, the video clip was uploaded via YouTube earlier this week. Stonie mentions in the footage that he wishes to challenge his eating rival Kevin Strahle, who also goes by the alias of "L.A. Beast," after watching him "eating Chipotle burritos like a baby." He adds that his goal is "to show him how to do it right."
The 21-year-old hungry dude appears in a black t-shirt with his matching signature headband wrapping around his long hair. He takes a deep breath before having a first bite into a not-so-small burrito, which consists of "white rice, black beans, sour cream, salsa, everything." Stonie then continues to inhale three burritos and slows down a bit towards the end. He hits his chest a couple of times before peeling away the aluminum foil of the last remaining burrito.
While chewing his last bite, the hero wipes his mouth with a napkin, and gulps down a large cup of Diet Coke, while the spectators at the restaurant are cheering for him. So what is his record? In just three minutes, Matt Stonie finishes four Chipotle burritos -- two chicken and two steak -- with a soda on the side, absolutely with no problem.
By the look of him, many might wonder where all the food goes, since he seems to carry a pretty normal weight. Perhaps Stonie has extremely fast metabolism? Or he really watches those extra calories by opting for Diet Coke.
