Former NBA All-Star Andrei Kirilenko has just acquired a more expensive Bel-Air estate than what he previously owned.

Kirilenko, the Russian basketball player with 13 years of experience under his name playing in the league, buys a luxury California home for $5.55 million, Los Angeles Times reported. Alla Furman of Hilton & Hyland represented Kirilenko while Sally Forster Jones of John Aaroe Group served as the seller's agent.

The 4,350-square-foot home includes five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a modern kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, an office and a huge wine cellar. Apart from the main house, there is a one-bedroom guesthouse that comes with a gym.

The interior boasts open floor plan areas, high ceilings and spanning glass panels that contribute to the home's airy ambiance. The abode's predominantly white motif, as seen in the photos, made the house pristine-looking.

Outdoors, the expansive three-acre grounds display a swimming pool with a spa.

A separate report from the Los Angeles Times noted that Kirilenko once owned a three-bedroom property in the same gated and private neighborhood of Bel-Air. In March, he sold the property for $3.4 million where he clearly profited from since he only bought it for $2.75 million in 2013.

Going back to Moscow

Although he was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1999, Kirilenko entered the NBA for the first time in 2001, where he played for the Jazz for 10 seasons, per ESPN stats. The six-foot-nine, 235-pound athlete then played for the Minnesota Timberwolves for a season and then two seasons for the Brooklyn Nets. His most productive year was in the 2003 to 2004 season with the Utah team, where he reportedly averaged 16.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, 2.8 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

The 34-year-old player, who admired Michael Jordan, has signed for PFC CSKA Moscow this season, per an ESPN report. After his two seasons with the Nets, he was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers but was then waived off.

However, he seemed to enjoy his time in Moscow with his team. He told AGSports why he came back to CSKA, where played in 2007 and 2011.

"Well, I'm finishing my career and you know, I want to finish it in the team which I've been raised," the Russian player said.

He said that he would always remember his time in the NBA, and when asked which team he felt better, he confirmed he had it in Utah.

"In Utah of course. I think that I expect a great time playing in there we had a great great round and a change of generation," Kirilenko said.
