Although Jennifer Lopez's Las Vegas residency doesn't begin until January, the superstar is heading to Vegas this month for the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The singer teased fans on Instagram last week after she posted an image of herself on top of playing cards and captioned the image: "I can't wait to share some news with you on Tuesday!!!"

On Tuesday morning Lopez posted an image revealing that she would be joining the iHeartRadio Music Festival's lineup of performers on Sept. 19.

The festival, which will take place in Las Vegas Sept. 18 to 19 and will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, includes big names like Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Demi Lovato, Prince Royce, The Weeknd, Nick Jonas, Jason Derulo, Lil Wayne, Blake Shelton, Trey Songz and bands like Coldplay, Fall Out Boy and Duran Duran, reported Extra.

Lopez also shared a video on Instagram, showing a montage of her past performances to promote her upcoming residency in Las Vegas.

"I think I've been preparing for this my whole life," Lopez told Entertainment Tonight about her upcoming residency. "I'm excited about going to Vegas [and] doing the kind of quintessential show that I've always had in my mind."

While Lopez is one of several female superstars, like Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Cher, to get a Las Vegas residency, no two are alike. So what can fans expect from a J. Lo show?

"It's gonna have everything that I've been known to do over the years, and it's gonna be a beautiful, glamorous kind of Vegas show," she said. "Something that I think people, whether you're a fan of my music or not, would come and see and really enjoy. That's my goal."

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will live stream on Yahoo Live and will later air as a special on The CW on Sept. 29 and 30.
