'Fallout 4' DLC, Free Updates, Season Pass, Xbox One & PC Mods Details Announced
The beloved "Fallout 4" video game is almost at the end of its development and Bethesda wants their fans to know the significant features the game will offer the players.
According to Bethesda's website, the game has gone through several stages of development that the team can't believe it's actually nearing its opening. That being said, Bethesda is contemplating on the game's sustainability after its launch and how will they be able to keep the player's interest in the game. The developer somehow figured few significant plans that will help sustain the game's interesting history.
Bethesda's plan to keep free updates for the game has been their primary priority. These updates will include new game concept as well as developed features solely for the game. This is aside from the regular updates on bug fixes and glitches. The updates will also depend on the participation of the players wherein they are given the opportunity to share their inputs toward the game, and Bethesda will work on incorporating them.
The year 2016 will be an interesting stage for "Fallout 4" because of their scheduled release of the "Creation Kit," which will enable players to design their own mode. The said creation kit will be available on PC and eventually the Xbox and PlayStation 4.
In a report by IGN, Bethesda is also offering a season pass to its valued fans that will enable them to download the DLC version of "Fallout 4" and its price is offered for only $30. Although there has been no official statement which DLC will be made available, the developer promised that even if the version will cost more than $30, those who bought the season pass will still get the downloadable content.
In a statement from the developer, which was featured on Gamespot, it said, "Since we're still hard at work on the game, we don't know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you'll get it all with the Season Pass."
Nevertheless, Bethesda honestly thinks that the "Fallout 4" video game will eventually surpass "Skyrim" in sales. "Fallout 4" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 10 and it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
