Presidental Hopeful Donald Trump 9/11 Tweet Uncovered, Calls Everyone 'Haters and Losers'
On the 14th anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, presidential candidate Donald Trump tweeted something two years ago that will raise some eyebrows.
According to CNN, on Sept. 11, 2013, Trump tweeted the following about 9/11, calling people losers in the tweet. "I would like to extend my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, September 11th."
Check it out below:
The tweet is pretty much self-explanatory, as he calls people losers even in somber times. Two years later, Trump tweeted out his condolences to the victims of 9/11:
When asked about the deleted tweet two years ago, Trump's campaign declined to comment.
Trump has been surrounded in controversy ever since he announced his run for president. During his speech announcing his campaign in June, Trump called Mexicans "criminals, drug dealers and rapists."
He then turned his attention toward women. During the Republican debates last month, Trump made sexist remarks toward Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly.
In light of his remarks against Mexicans, Spanish-language TV giant Univision will not air the Miss Universe pageant on its channel. Stores such as Macy's will not sell his men's clothing in its stores.
Univison's anchor Jorge Ramos was recently kicked out of Trump's news conference, after trying to ask him a question about his immigration policies.
Despite his remarks, Trump is actually leading in the polls among Republican candidates with a whopping 32 percent of votes.
