It is understood that Miley Cyrus has been criticized for her previous antics and controversial behaviors, however it also seems that the tabloids just can't leave her alone. The recent rumors involve the "Adore You" singer allegedly having an affair with Justin Bieber, and she then takes to social media to shut all of them down.

US magazine's Life & Style initially accused the 21-year-old singer of hooking up with Bieber by reporting that she was getting intimate with him at an event, while the 19-year-old troubled singer was still dating his on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez. The publication ran a photo of Cyrus and the "Bad Day" singer closely posing together at a party, and claimed that the "Come & Get It" singer had recruited her best friends Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift to get "revenge" on the "Wrecking Ball" singer for hitting on her then boyfriend.

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter on Monday to deny the supposed hookups with Justin Bieber. "Btw this is photoshopped. Biebs wasn't at Pharrell's bday party," she wrote. "I never read this shit & that's why," she added.

In addition, the pop star also slammed a report by Star magazine, which claimed that Cyrus had been hired to go back to her good-girl roots, and was dying to play the role of Tinker Bell in an upcoming adaptation of Peter Pan on NBC's live musical this spring.

"I would rather choke on my own tongue," Cyrus tweeted.
