In last week's "Sister Wives" premiere, Meri and Kody Brown's divorce was finalized. The Brown family debated whether or not Kody's marriage to his fourth wife, Robyn, should be celebrated. Kody decided to elope with Robyn for the marriage ceremony.

On Sunday, TLC will air two new episodes of "Sister Wives" and published the synopsis for both.

In Episode 2, "Wrestling with Adoption," Meri becomes emotional when she explains to the children about her and Kody's divorce so the marriage license will have Robyn's name for purpose of the Brown family legally adopting her children. Kody wants to begin the next step of adopting Robyn's kids from her first marriage, but how will her ex-husband feel about it?

In Episode 3, "All About Janelle," Janelle Brown is Kody's only wife who was not raised in a polygamist church. Fans will learn how she was introduced to polygamy and why she chose it as a spiritual lifestyle. She reveals her feelings about gaining a new sister wife. She will also talk about her struggle to lose weight.

Fans have applauded Meri on social media for how selfless she was in her decision to divorce her husband of 25 years so that he could marry Robyn and adopt the three children from her first marriage.

On social media, Meri has not only shown her strength as a devoted life partner to her polygamist family, but she has defended the backlash Robyn has received for becoming pregnant with Kody's nineteenth child and changing the family's dynamics.

"The extreme hate and negativity that I have seen concerning her and this baby is frankly, quite disgusting," Meri wrote on Twitter Sept. 5. "It disappoints and saddens me that there is so much hate swirling around what we see as an ultimate blessing and gift of happiness."
