The future is getting brighter each day for Houston Texans running back Arian Foster as last month's injured player is seen back in camp.

Foster, who just received an operation for his groin injury sustained while at practice in August, per ESPN's Tania Ganguli's Twitter post, is already participating in drills, Houston Chronicle reported. However, the New Mexico-born football player may still not be really seen in action this week, noted the site, citing Head Coach Bill O' Brien.

"We are slowly incorporating him back into practice. I wouldn't expect him this week, but you never know," O'Brien said.

Last week, the coach also shared that Foster is recovering well "relative to the injury that he has and prognosis early on," noted the Texans' official website.

The Chronicle stated that when it interviewed Foster last week, his recovery amazed his doctors, but he still have to focus on being fully rehabilitated before going back to the game.

"We've made a lot of progress in the rehab of my injury, and we're excited about that.I'm not happy because I would rather be out there with my teammates, but life happens and you got to roll with it. As far as being where I'm at, at this point, we're ahead of schedule and the doctors are pleased with it and so are the trainers," Foster said.

It is really a great feat that the running back, who posted 1,578 total yards and 14 touchdowns in the 2014-2015 season even though he sustained a hamstring injury, per a Bleacher Report article, is getting back in shape in quickly.

Early in August, right after his groin operation, he was still expected to be back so much later on the field, per NFL.com's Ian Rapoport's Twitter post.

It must be Foster's positive disposition that truly helped him get through this challenge he is facing. Instead of sulking in a corner, he rose above it. The 29-year-old NFL athlete is even ready to make this 2015 season his best year in his entire career, NFL.com reported.

"It's going to be tough because I'm going to have some ground to make up, but I was feeling the best, feeling the quickest that I felt. You can judge for yourself," the optimistic star running back said.
