WWE Night of Champions is just a couple of days away and here are the hottest rumors surrounding the event and the WWE.

Rusev and Lana Reunion

Rusev and Lana both suffered and looked weak after their split. According to Wrestling News Observer via 411 Mania, there are serious talks within the WWE about reuniting the two. "The Bulgarian Brute" is currently in the middle of a flop storyline with Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae. "The Ravishing Russian" was also part of the story, but a WWE report noted that she suffered a broken wrist while training and would be out for four months.

Sheamus Cash-In

According to PW Mania, Sheamus is close to cashing in his "Money in the Bank" briefcase, with a big possibility at the Night of Champions event or the next night on Raw. "The Celtic Warrior" can cash-in on Seth Rollins if he retains or on Sting right after his win.

Sheamus is guaranteed to win the WWE World Heavyweight Champion sometime this year or before June 2016 but it won't be a long reign. WWE may choose to make him champion before the release of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Half Shell," wherein he will play the role of the villain "Rocksteady" on June 3, 2016, as confirmed by ComingSoon.net.

Roman Reigns and Deam Ambrose Mystery Partner

According to Bleacher Report, Reigns and Ambrose's mystery partner for their six-man tag team match against The Wyatt Family is one of the most interesting storyline heading into Night of Champions. Wrestling Inc. reports that Randy Orton and Erick Rowan are a long shot to be the third man while there is a big possibility of using Kane or Chris Jericho as the mystery partner.

In an earlier report from Wrestling Inc., NXT Talent Baron Corbin was in a leaked picture from WWE.com, but it turned out that it was a fake.

Damien Sandow is Back!

After a long time being The Miz's body double, a tweet from Gixx - WWE announced that Damien Sandow is back. Ted Gilliam tweeted that Sandow worked a dark match for WWE Main Event in his old attire as a face and defeated Adam Rose. He came out in a blue robe and proclaimed himself as the "The Voice of Common Sense."

Early 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Inductees

PW Insider reports that Michael Hayes and The Fabulous Freebirds is a strong candidate for the Hall of Fame Class of 2016. The Freebirds made their name in the Dallas area where WrestleMania 32 will be held.  Another name rumored to be inducted is Rey Mysterio, as per Inquisitr. However, it will be too early to put someone like Mysterio if Sting, The Rock,and The Undertaker are not yet inducted.
