Dyean McDermott Rehab and Cheating: Tori Spelling's Husbands Wants Her to Seek Help for Shopping Addiction
Oh, that Dean McDermott: even though he's fresh out of rehab, he's the first to point fingers at his wife, Tori Spelling, and insists that she -- not him -- is the one who needs help for her shopping addiction!
According to Us Magazine, Dean threw himself into rehab after it became public that he was cheating on his Hollywood royalty wife with a 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. The father of four has just emerged from his 30-day stint, reportedly contrite -- but whether he was contrite for committing the "crime," or contrite for getting caught, is what's unclear. "I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves," he said in a statement.
But according to DListed, as much as Dean claims that he's "recovered" from his bad behavior, he feels as though Tori should be the next in line for rehab, because her constant spending is taking a toll on both their relationship and the family finances. Even though Tori is the daughter of the late Aaron Spelling -- who, in his heyday, made more money than he could ever spend in a lifetime -- it's Candy, Aaron's widow and Tori's mother, who controls the purse strings, not Tori or her brother. Candy, for her part, has all but cut Tori off, and it's not like Dean or Tori are in high demand for work.
"There are nights that Dean doesn't sleep because he is so concerned about how they are going to pay the bills. Tori is willing to get help, but complains she doesn't have time because of their four kids," reports DListed.
